Using PrepMe
PrepMe is a free study platform for South African matric (Grade 10–12) learners, offering CAPS-aligned lessons, quizzes, mock exams, an AI Tutor, study videos and live VS Mode duels. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login details secure.
Acceptable use
Use PrepMe respectfully. Don't attempt to cheat, exploit bugs, automate accounts, harass other learners, or post content that is offensive, plagiarised or unrelated to studying. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
XP, Arena Points & duels
XP, Arena Points, streaks, badges and leaderboard rankings are virtual, in-app rewards used to track progress and motivate studying. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be adjusted, reset or rebalanced as we improve the app.
Study content & accuracy
PrepMe's content (quizzes, notes, mock exams, AI Tutor answers) is created to support your CAPS studies, but it is supplementary material — always confirm important exam information with your school, teachers and the Department of Basic Education.
Your content
If you post videos, comments or other content (for example in the Entertainment feed or profile), you confirm you have the right to share it and grant PrepMe permission to display it within the app. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Intellectual property
The PrepMe name, logo, design and app code are owned by PrepMe Technologies. You may not copy, resell or redistribute PrepMe's content or branding without permission.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
PrepMe is provided "as is", free of charge. While we work hard to keep it accurate, fast and available, we don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that results (such as exam outcomes) will meet any particular standard. To the extent permitted by law, PrepMe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as PrepMe evolves. Continuing to use PrepMe after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
